Several mortgage banking executives have found new homes as lenders and servicers embark on recruiting campaigns to fill recently vacated management positions.

Kevin Cooke Jr. has left his position as senior vice president of the Sales & Business Development unit of AMS Servicing LLC, a division of Arbor Commercial Mortgage in New York, to join Carrington Investment Services LLC as managing director, focusing on business development and institutional clients. In his new role, he will represent the entire Carrington family of companies and specifically promote the growth of the real estate businesses.

Carrington also added Lynn Halstead as vice president of wholesale operations to its mortgage lending division’s senior management team, focusing on wholesale lending channel. Halstead is a 25-year veteran of the mortgage banking and real estate lending industry, with experience in virtually every aspect of the business.

“I am excited to join Carrington Mortgage Services, and am looking forward to working with the team to build a best-in-class origination platform,” Halstead said.
