A trio of commercial mortgage lenders, including one that specializes in government lending, has made executive appointments. One of the firms named a new chief executive officer.
James J. Moore III was named president and CEO of Oppenheimer Multifamily Housing & Healthcare Finance Inc., a Feb. 6 statement from the North Wales, Pa.-based company said.
Moore started in the business in 1990 and joined Oppenheimer’s predecessor, Fahnestock & Co., in 1995.
In Irvine, Calif., James M. Fowler recently joined Holliday Fenoglio Folwer LP as managing director. He oversees debt and equity origination in the Southwest. Fowler’s prior employers include Merrill Lynch, Bank of the West and CB Richard Ellis.
Fowler founded US Realty Capital and has originated more than $3.5 billion in transactions, according to HFF.
Walker & Dunlop Inc. announced the hiring of Keith L. Melton as vice president, FHA Finance. He will operate from a newly opened office in Nashville, Tenn. Melton’s focus will be FHA-insured multifamily and healthcare loan originations.
Melton previously spent time with Deutsche Bank Berkshire Mortgage Inc., Fifth Third Bank and First American National Bank.
