Recent management changes at mortgage service providers included several in sales and marketing positions and several at default service providers.
Richard D. Powers has agreed to join DJSP Enterprises Inc. as president and chief operating officer, a July press release said. His 25 years in mortgage banking and financial services includes a stint at Altisource Portfolio Solutions SA. In addition, he was general manager of Ditech and GMAC Mortgage Direct/GMAC ResCap and was president of KB Home Mortgage, according to the statement.
Plantation, Fla.-based DJSP claims to be “one of the largest providers of processing services for the mortgage and real estate industries in the United States” and the largest provider in Florida. The 1,000-employee firm’s principal customer is the Law Offices of David J. Stern, P.A., whose clients reportedly include all of the top-10 U.S. mortgage servicers.
The new director of business development for The EMAC Group’s mortgage lending division is John Kuczeski, according to an announcement this month from the Lake Mary, Fla.-based company. Kuczeski was previously a divisional vice president for GMAC Mortgage and has 25 years’ experience in residential lending.
In July, Prommis Solutions LLC announced John Marecki has been hired as VP within its East Coast foreclosure operations unit. Marecki, who reports to Prommis President Jennifer Dorris, spent 25 years at Flagstar Bank before joining the Atlanta-based firm.
This month, Prommis said Phil Johnsen was appointed senior VP of sales and marketing. Johnsen was founding partner and president of DDN Mortgage Services LLC, which provided FHA inspections and REO renovation services through a nationwide network of more than 11,000 licensed home inspectors and over 14,000 licensed general contractors.
Default service provider Loan Value Group LLC said in an Aug. 19 news release that Louis J. Petriello was named chief financial officer. He’ll operate from the company’s Rumson, N.J., headquarters and report to Chief Executive Officer Howard Hubler.
In Saddle Brook, N.J., Capstone Advisory Group LLC announced this month that Daniel Ventricelli is the new managing director of its litigation and forensic practice group. Ventricelli has more than 23 years’ experience. Among Capstone’s services are restructuring, litigation and valuation.
REO asset management service provider New Vista Asset Management reported this month that Ivan Choi joined the company as a national default sales executive. Choi, a 15-year veteran who is president of the trade group REOMAC, is a board member of the Asian Real Estate Association of America.

Ellie Mae has appointed Georgeann Beville as director of customer care. The move was part of an expansion of customer care at the Pleasanton, Calif.-based company. Earlier this month, a news release indicated Ellie’s National Advisory Council now includes Gold Star Mortgage Financial Group CEO Dan Milstein. Ellie CEO Sig Anderman noted in the statement that the council is composed of tenured, well-respected industry leaders. Angela Capone and Candice Racine have both been promoted to area sales manager by Radian Guaranty Inc., a press release last month said. Between them, Capone and Racine have three decades of mortgage insurance experience. David Bizar has joined Seyfarth Shaw’s Litigation Department, a statement this month said. The company claims Bizar is a “noted financial services defense counsel” who has defended major financial firms in more than 20 consumer class actions. Jane Eaglen was appointed executive VP at the National Notary Association, an Aug. 4 announcement indicated. She already holds the position of chief financial officer for the association.

Tony Garritano is the founder and chairman of PROGRESS in Lending Association, a new organization announced last month. The CEO of the new group is Roger Gudobba, and its chief strategy officer is Michael Hammond. Kelly Purcell was named chief information officer, while Gage Minton is the chief technology officer and Michael Blair is the chief operations officer.
PartnerFirst LLC announced on Aug. 17 that Bill Breeden has joined the Corona, Calif., company as principal and chief development officer. He was an SVP at ServiceLink and AssetLink LP prior to his new job.
