A mortgage service provider has just added a huge client and recruited more than two dozen mortgage professionals to service the customer. By the end of next year, more than a hundred more hirings are anticipated.
Genpact Limited announced Monday that it has opened a new services delivery center in Richardson, Texas, just outside of Dallas. The location can house a staff of as many as a thousand employees.
On Wednesday, the company plans a reception for the official opening of the new center. Among more than a hundred attendees expected are Richardson Mayor Bob Townsend, Richardson Chamber President and Chief Executive Officer Bill Sproull and other political figures from the city.
A “major” financial institution has just signed on as a new client of subsidiary Genpact Mortgage Services.
The business process and technology management service provider said that it has recruited 30 mortgage professionals to support the new client.
During the next 12 to 18 months, Genpact expects to expand staffing at the new center to between 150 and 200 full-time professionals.
In August 2010, MERSCORP Inc. handed its mortgage services support and member-facing helpdesk services over by Genpact in a deal that was expected to last for seven years.
