A mortgage banker operating from California is expanding its national branching platform and adding dozens of employees in the process.
An announcement Wednesday from iServe Residential Lending LLC indicated that several locations throughout California, North Carolina and Washington have been opened.
The additions are part of the San Diego-based company’s “ongoing national branching platform expansion plans.”
iServe said that Gary Hoyer and Mark Loreto have been appointed as Northeast regional managers. Hoyer previously worked for Proficio Mortgage Ventures and Sterling Eagle Mortgage Investment Co. — where Loreto was previously employed.
Two other regional managers already handle the West and the Southeast.
Among the duties handled by the regional manager positions is the recruitment of branch managers and loan officers.
The company said in a statement that it added 40 new employees during the first quarter. Current headcount stands at 190 people.
A spokesman declined to comment on upcoming hirings.
iServe promises new recruits “a robust operations and compliance platform and nationwide footprint,” according to iServe Chief Executive Officer Gary Willis.
The unit previously operated as United Residential Lending LLC before being acquired in June 2009 by National Asset Direct Inc.
