Following a recruiting campaign earlier this year, Quicken Loans Inc. plans another event — though the number of jobs being filled has ballooned.
Quicken held a job fair at its headquarters in April. That recruiting effort was expected to yield around a hundred hires including positions in mortgage banking, operations, technology, marketing and human resources.
Now the Detroit-based firm plans another job fair at its headquarters, which is located in the Compuware Building.
The upcoming event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 17, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
The job fair is in support of 500 planned hirings. Most of the jobs are located in Detroit, though some being filled in nearby suburbs are expected to move downtown within six months.
Among the employment opportunities are jobs in mortgage banking that require no prior experience. Also available are positions in technology and marketing.
“Every applicant attending the fair will have an opportunity to meet with a recruiter and explore the available opportunities that best fit their experience and career goals,” a statement said. “Attendees will also receive a tour of the Quicken Loans’ offices and have the opportunity to win door prizes.”
