A mortgage lead generation company is looking to help loan originators develop more and better Realtor relationships.

Kirkland, Wash.-based HouseValues Inc. recently announced that in addition to its new exclusive lead service, a subscriber would receive an online integrated customer relationship management communications solution for local real estate professionals, as well as for prospects and former clients.

“We’re giving mortgage professionals the tools to build stronger relationships with real estate agents in their area,” Matt Heinz, senior director of marketing for HouseValues, told MortgageDaily.com. “It’s a very differentiated service; our customers on the mortgage side are very excited — from the very large mortgage companies to the individual mortgage broker.”

Heinz said in much the same way that technology has enabled the real estate professional to make more money and build business, mortgage professionals will also benefit from the same Customer Relationship Management, or CRM, solutions allowing them to build relationships with local Realtors by sharing exclusive home buyer leads generated by HouseValues.

RealEstate.com has also been in the business of building lender/real estate relationships since March of 2000. The company integrates its registered real estate professionals and mortgage lenders with online CRM tools, creating productive long-term business relationships between the two industries, company spokeswoman Mindy Duquette told MortgageDaily.com.

“It definitely is a networking tool that both our real estate and mortgage professionals can use to close the transaction the best way they can for the consumer,” Duquette said. “Since many consumers go into the home buying process without a preferred lender or preferred Realtor, we offer a solution for them to provide them with agents or lenders that are of the same mindset, that are familiar with the process and are likely to have already worked with each other on a LendingTree or RealEstate.com lead.”

ELeadz Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy Matthew Connelly said the company does understand the importance of offering a mortgage broker/Realtor integration service, and although they don’t yet offer such a service, the company is updating its computer technology to accommodate such a program.

Connelly said they expect to complete their technology upgrade by adding a vertical real estate program and would implement an integrated service sometime late this year or the beginning of 2006. “

“It is a better overall consumer experience, for everyone involved,” Connelly told MortgageDaily.com. “Our customers will receive a better experience, and this puts us in that much better of a position to offer services to both the real estate and mortgage industries.
