The mortgage banking affiliate of IBERIABANK has expanded in two states with five new offices.
The offices were opened by IBERIABANK Mortgage, a news release today said.
Three new Alabama offices are in Montgomery, Auburn and Prattville.
In Georgia, offices were opened in Valdosta and Columbus.
“We have greatly expanded our footprint into the southeast region of the country,” IBERIABANK Mortgage President Chuck Quit noted in the statement. “We’ve also added a seasoned staff who bring a wealth of experience.”
Quit explained that the Little Rock, Ark.-based firm first became interested in expanding in Alabama and Georgia when its Lafayette, La.-based parent, IBERIABANK Corp., acquired failed CapitalSouth Bank in August.
As part of the expansion, Barry Carroll was appointed mortgage market president for the Alabama and Georgia region.
IBERIABANK Mortgage said it operates in 10 states through 43 offices.
