A new application for iPads enables loan originators to put in orders for a variety of services while on the go. The offering is just one of many being touted at a mortgage technology conference this week.
The Mortgage Bankers Association is holding its National Technology In Mortgage Banking Conference & Expo in Phoenix this week. The convention kicked off on Sunday and concludes on Wednesday.
The event has mortgage technology service providers busy touting their offerings.
Among a host of announcements released so far is one from LenderMobile.
The Mortgage Daily advertiser said Monday that its LenderMobile+ product has been upgraded.
The enhanced offering enables originators to order credit reports, identity checks and IRS 4506-T tax return verifications directly from their iPads. Flood determinations are also among the services that can be ordered from third-party vendors.
The Burlingame, Calif.-based company says that once the third-party services are ordered, the forms are sent to the LenderMobile cloud platform then validated, processed and sent to the vendors.
Instant vendor results are available on the iPad for originator review and can be forwarded to loan origination systems. In cases where the vendor requires more processing time, an Apple push notification will appear on the iPad — alerting originators when the results are available.
The LenderMobile+ application is available for free at Apple.com, while a subscription to the service costs $19.95 a month for an individual and $14.95 a month per user for groups of two or more.
