An application for a loan origination system is now available for smartphones. The new application works on the Apple platform and the Google platform.
The launch of Calyx Mobile was announced on Thursday. The mobile application is available for iPhones and phones that utilize the Android operating system.
Users can securely start a loan application on their phones with the new application.
Phone contact information can be imported, and all data is transferred to either PointCentral or Point. Synchronization is automatic.
Originators can also view their pipelines and obtain instant status reports on specific loans, according to the Mortgage Daily advertiser.
“Loan officers need the ability to take new borrower applications and check the status of their pipeline no matter where they happen to be,” the news release stated. “At an extremely affordable price, mobile apps from Calyx give loan officers a convenient way to take their efficient business processes wherever they need to go.”
The Dallas-based technology provider noted that business owners have complete control over user access to the application through the MyCalyx online management tool or the PointCentral administrative site.
