Mortgage lead generation companies are integrating their services with Voice over Internet Protocol phone systems to help loan originators reach several hundred prospects a day.

NR Leads recently announced a new Web-based call center software platform called LeadX that works in conjunction with the user’s existing VoIP phone system and database to auto dial prospective leads.

Jason Kulpa, a spokesman for the San Diego, Calif.-based company, told MortgageDaily.com that the computer handles the dialing while the loan originator talks to prospects as they become available.

NR Leads said the program, which includes a tracking system to monitor the user’s progress and displays real-time statistics to “give at-a-glance performance summaries,” is hosted on its server and runs on any personal computer with an Internet connection.

The program can be tailored to the lender’s needs by sorting lead lists, the announcement explained, assigning certain criteria to different people and the user’s can tag and comment leads for callback purposes.

“Our goal with LeadX is to revolutionize small to mid-size lenders that maintain an active relationship with existing clients and new prospects,” LeadX executive Chern Lee told MortgageDaily.com.

NR Leads also offers its own general VoIP voice-broadcasting.

Dave Carriveau, an executive with VoiceShot, told MortgageDaily.com they have thousands of mortgage companies that use its voice-broadcasting program as a form of lead generation or for follow-up to keep in touch with their existing clients, but does not offer a program such as LeadX.

Clients of Bingham Farms, Mich.-based VoiceShot access the system via the Internet utilizing VoIP, Carriveau explained, and “from there they record a message over the phone, upload their list and launch them right through the web interface.”

He said the system, which is 100 percent customizable and is used primarily for targeting refinance and purchase lead generation or for follow-up, can be used to conduct automated surveys as well.

Signature Marketing offers voice broadcasting as well, for as low as 12 cents per number if the lender supplies their own list, up to 10,000 numbers per campaign, according to Signature sales manager Mike Pope.

Currently, the tracking of the voice broadcast is done with Excel spreadsheets, Pope said. A Web site and interface are ready to launch within the next 30 days, he said, to allow for real-time interaction while the broadcasting is active.
