Several appraisal management companies have integrated new technology into their platforms in an effort to improve services to lenders. Meanwhile, appraisers and valuation firms are meeting in North Texas.
On Monday, the Appraisal Institute kicked off its AI Connect annual meeting at the Sheraton Dallas. The event, which runs through Wednesday, reportedly attracts valuation professionals from around the world.
In addition to networking, attendees will have more than 50 education courses they can attend and earn education credits.
An integration between Valligent and Clearbox LLC promises to
provide mortgage lenders with “the most comprehensive appraiser selection and due diligence services available in the mortgage industry,” a news release last month said. In addition, the integration reportedly gives lenders the tools needed to work with appraisal panels to identify potential risks.
A June 22 announcement indicated that LRES DirectConnect is now fully integrated with Platinum Data Solutions’ RealView. LRES, an AMC and REO management company, expects the integration to provide a more streamlined quality management with automated detection of overlooked or incorrect scope of work or underwriting guidelines during the home appraisal process.
Orange, California-based LRES reported earlier this month that it experienced a 58 percent increase in revenue during the first-half 2015 versus a year earlier.
Platinum Data announced earlier this month that Valued Veterans has implemented its RealView appraisal quality technology. The move is expected to provide Valued Veterans with scalability as it grows.
The statement indicated that Valued Veterans
is the only AMC recognized by the federal government as a service disabled veteran-owned small business.
Another AMC, Nations Valuation Services, will utilize Comergence to
perform background checks and ongoing monitoring of its field appraisers, a June 30 statement said.
An announcement in June said ACI Sky Delivery has been fully integrated with the Urban Lending Solutions Appraisals platform. The move by the AMC is expected to improve the overall review process.
“ACI Sky Delivery is an enterprise appraisal delivery platform including an appraiser-facing web interface that applies dynamic rules and renders real-time results, including hard stops, prior to posting the file for further review,” the statement said.
Yet another integration was recently announced between Dart Appraisal, a national AMC, and
Mercury Network’s Enterprise Vendor Framework. Dart hopes to streamline communication with lenders through the integration by eliminating the need for users to switch between loan origination systems and email servers.
