Among a number of mortgage-related organizations to be recently ranked among the best employers were several non-bank real estate finance businesses.
JPMorgan Chase & Co. topped the eFinancialCareers Ideal Employer rankings for 2017, according to a March 28 statement. The list reflects global standing.
eFinancialCareers explained that nearly 6,000 finance professionals were surveyed during the fourth quarter of last year. Votes were cast for 2,663 companies.
The other companies to make the top five on the list were Goldman Sachs, Google, Morgan Stanley and Citigroup Inc.
Philly.com has recognized Freedom Mortgage Corp. among 2017 Top Workplaces, a March 28 news release stated. Employers considered are located in the Philadelphia region.
Mount Laurel, New Jersey-based Freedom Mortgage said the ranking was based on a survey by
WorkplaceDynamics LLC of over 1,300 of its more than 5,400 employees.
Great Place to Work and Fortune ranked PrimeLending No. 8 among
this year’s Best Workplaces in Financial Services & Insurance, PrimeLending announced last week.
It was the third year among the top-10 companies on the list
for the Dallas-based mortgage banking firm. Employers were recognized based surveys of their employees.
New American Funding announced Wednesday that it was named by Hispanic Lifestyle as a company that provides outstanding opportunities for women.
“New American Funding has done an outstanding job creating a positive growth environment for women,” Hispanic Lifestyle President Richard Sandoval was quoted as saying. “They’re doing amazing things for Latinos and women not only in Southern California but across the nation.”
Last month, Tustin, California-based New American reported that it was ranked No. 16 by Fortune and Great Place to Work for Best Workplace in Financial Services and Insurance. It moved up from No. 25 last year.
Of the more than 415 New American employees surveyed for the report, 90 percent reportedly said they have a great workplace. The company said it has hired more than 1,200 employees over the past year.
National MI also reported that it was among 40 firms to be recognized by
Fortune and Great Place to Work for Best Workplace in Financial Services and Insurance. The Emeryville, California-based organization reports a staff of 276 people as of Dec. 31, 2016.
