The results are in, and a mortgage firm out of Southern California has been designated as the best handler of mortgage leads.
Among home lenders that bid for prospective mortgage borrowers, HomePlus Mortgage was rated by customers as the best lender.
The mortgage ranking was based on
interest rates, fees and closing costs; responsiveness; customer service; and overall experience.
That was according to LendingTree, which Thursday announced the top-10 customer-rated lenders on its network during the third quarter.
More than 350 lenders are reportedly in the LendingTree online loan marketplace.
It was the second consecutive quarter that San Diego-based HomePlus landed at the top of the list.
HomePlus was founded by its chief executive officer, Philip J. Pizzino.
No. 2 was Pulaski Bank Home Lending, which moved up from No. 8 in the second quarter.
Triumph Lending came in third, slipping from the second position three months earlier.
After that was Americash,
which didn’t make the second-quarter report.
No. 5
Ditech Financial LLC climbed from the 10th spot in the prior report.
No. 6 through No. 10 were Silver
Fin Capital Group, National Bank Of Kansas City, Commonwealth Mortgage LLC, Insight Loans and Reliant Bank Mortgage Services.
