A couple of big mortgage players have made changes to their boards of directors. Meanwhile, several regional manager appointments were among recent executive changes.
Walter Investment Management Corp. disclosed Tuesday that
Mark J. O’Brien, James L. Pappas and Shannon E. Smith have resigned from its board of directors as of Jan. 19.
Joining Tampa, Florida-based Walter’s board were its
chief executive officer and president, Anthony N. Renzi, along with Neal P. Goldman and Michael M. Bhaskaran.
Over at Flagstar Bancorp,
Jennifer Whip has joined the board, a Jan. 19 statement said. She spent 26 years at Fannie Mae and currently works as a managing director at Garrett, McAuley & Co.
The new executive vice president and chief risk officer at Nationstar Mortgage Holdings Inc. is Mihir Patel, the Dallas-based company said on Jan. 10. Mihir came from Capital One Bank and previously worked at PNC Bank.
Patel takes over from
Ramesh Lakshminarayanan, who now works as the chief business and analytics officer.
Frank Mancino has been named mid-Atlantic region manager of
Finance of America Mortgage LLC, a statement last month said. He’ll support the firm’s branch network in five states. Before joining Finance of America-subsidiary Gateway Funding more than 11 years ago, Mancino worked for Countrywide Home Loans, Chase Home Finance and GMAC Mortgage LLC.
Stonegate Mortgage Corp. has named Jeffrey Keiser as its east regional manager. His more than two decades in mortgage lending included a nine-year stint at U.S. Bank Home Mortgage.
In Tustin, California, New American Funding reported on Jan. 9 that Kelly Allison named southeast divisional vice president who is responsible for seven states. Allison, who has spent 13 years in the business, joined New American in November 2016. Her prior employers include Caliber Home Loans and Countrywide Home Loans.
A Jan. 10 news release from Gateway Mortgage Group said
Barbara Burton is the new regional sales manager. She’ll handle existing and prospective clients in Southern California and Arizona. Burton’s decade-and-a-half of experience included time at JPMorgan Chase & Co., Impac Mortgage Corp. and Ditech Financial.
Dixon Sewell has been named senior vice president and regional manager at PrivatePlus Mortgage, an announcement Monday from parent National Bank of Commerce indicated. In the newly created position, Sewell will have responsibility for Georgia mortgage operations. He spent 29 years at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and predecessor Norwest Mortgage prior to joining PrivatePlus.
