Executives have been appointed to a variety of management roles at mortgage companies including a subsidiary of Walter Investment Management Corp.
A Sept. 7 announcement from Ditech Financial LLC indicated that 25-year veteran Robert Groody has been recruited to lead consumer lending operations.
Groody most recently spent nearly six years at JPMorgan Chase & Co. He also previously worked at GMAC Bank as well as PHH Mortgage Corp.
Ditech is a subsidiary of Walter Investment.
Independent Bank Corp. has appointed Patrick Ervin to the role of senior vice president mortgage banking, a statement from the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based firm Monday said.
He was recruited from his role as executive managing director at Talmer Bank & Trust, where he started in August 2009. Annual originations at Talmer reportedly reached $1 billion during his tenure there.
Ervin, who will co-manage mortgage banking operations with Russ Daniel,
operated a net branch location for five years and has been in the business since at least 1992.
Annual production at Independent Bank is around $0.375 billion.
The new executive vice president of production at South Pacific Financial Corp. is Bob Boehnlein, a statement Tuesday said.
His nearly quarter-century in the mortgage business included time at Prospect Mortgage LLC and American Home Mortgage.
While his LinkedIn profile shows no employer since November 2013, the Irvine, California-based organization noted that Boehnlein
served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Strongsville, Ohio-based Union Home Mortgage Corp. reported late last month that R. Bryan Wright was promoted to regional manager for Alabama, North Carolina and South Carolina.
Wright, who started with
Union Home Mortgage in August 2012, worked for Advantage Loans Inc. from 1998 until 2012, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Frank Fuentes has been named
national vice president of multicultural lending at New American Funding, a news release Tuesday said.
In this role he’ll will work on a national level to expand the Tustin, California-based firm’s footprint and multi-cultural initiatives.
Before joining New American in 2014,
Fuentes spend more than two years at PrimeLending, more than a year at Bank of America Home Loans and the first decade of the millennium at New American.
