Although Mortgage Daily typically covers hirings involving at least 25 employees, many of the job additions are under the radar. Here are some of them.
Churchill Mortgage said on Aug. 25 that it added
16 employees in seven states. The hirings were all for production positions.
A month earlier, Churchill announced that it recruited 22 production employees in seven states.
The news release indicated that 80 people have been brought on since January.
“The tremendous and ongoing growth of our staff is reflective of an improving housing market,” Churchill Mortgage President Mike Hardwick said in a written statement of the recent hirings.
Company-wide headcount at Brentwood, Tennessee-based Churchill exceeds 300 employees.
Scot Bristol, who is the president of PrimeLending, said last month on LinkedIn that the Dallas-based mortgage banker added 10 production employees.
United Shore Financial Services LLC reported a staff of 1,200 people as of Jan. 23, the same headcount as of the end of 2013. But employee count is apparently headed higher.
A Sept. 8 article from Inside Mortgage Finance indicated that 220 hirings are planned at United Shore through the end of this year. The hirings are on top of 60 employees added in August.
