Strengthening demand for its lending services in the Mid Atlantic has prompted Freedom Mortgage Corp. to launch a recruiting campaign in the region.
The Mount Laurel, N.J.-based company said in January that it planned to beef up its production staff by 500 employees.
Freedom
launched the recruiting campaign in anticipation of increased demand for loans insured by the Federal Housing Administration following a 50-basis-point reduction in mortgage insurance premiums.
On Monday, Freedom announced plans to hire at least 75 new employees over the coming months.
The new recruits will work at a direct lending mortgage center in Columbia, Md.
Freedom said the hirings are in response to increased demand in the region.
National headcount currently stands in excess of 2,700 people.
“Freedom Mortgage is looking for licensed loan officers, sales managers and mortgage processors proficient in working directly with consumers online and over the telephone to handle their inquiries and loan applications,” the announcement stated.
