A new application enables mortgage servicers to offer their borrowers access to their accounts from their phones and tablets.
Up to this point, mobile applications for residential loan servicing have primarily been limited to larger companies’ proprietary creations.
But a new private-label offering announced on Thursday reportedly is the first white-label mobile application for loans servicers.
LIFT MOBILE integrates in real time with mortgage servicing platforms like the industry-dominant LoanSphere system from Black Knight Financial Services, Ventanex said in a news release.
“Mobile has evolved from nice-to-have to necessity,” Ventanex Chief Revenue Officer Todd Harbison said in the statement. “For more and more borrowers, it’s the main — and often only way — they manage their finances and explore new products and services. The potential for engagement is limitless.”
With the application, borrowers can manage their loan from any Apple or Android device.
“Users can see the current amount due, make a payment, set up recurring payments, send and receive messages, check their loan progress, interest rate, current balance, payment history and more,” Ventanex said.
