Quarterly mortgage lending at Movement Mortgage LLC has nearly doubled compared to a year earlier. Staffing has also been growing.
There were 10,337 residential loans originated for $2.126 billion from April 1 through June 30 at Movement.

Virginia Beach, Virginia-headquartered firm revealed its operational details as part of the Mortgage Daily Second Quarter 2015 Mortgage Origination Survey.
Business nearly doubled compared to the second-quarter 2014, when 5,902 mortgages were closed for $1.163 billion.
Movement reported a mortgage servicing portfolio of
366 loans for $0.073 billion as of June 30, 2015.
The total included $0.003 billion in loans owned by the mortgage banking firm and $0.070 billion in loans serviced for third parties.
As of the end of last year, Movement reported a servicing portfolio of $0.500 billion.
Movement said its staff finished the second-quarter 2015 at 2,098 people.
Headcount has increased compared to when it was 1,565 as of the end of 2014.
