Ocwen Financial Corp.’s operating subsidiary has combined its and wholesale and correspondent sales divisions into a single business.
A news release Thursday indicated that subsidiary-Homeward Residential
Inc. consolidated its wholesale and correspondent sales divisions.
The Addison, Texas-based firm’s newly combined third-party originations business unit will operate under just one leadership structure.
In addition to providing
an improved and streamlined service experience for customers, the new structure is intended to support the company’s overall growth plans.
Michael Moorhouse has been named senior vice president of the third-party origination division. His more than three decades in mortgage banking most recently included time at Icon Advisory Group.
Current Homeward executives Jason Dumke and John Douglas will serve as vice president divisional manager east division and vice president correspondent sales, respectively.
“By combining our wholesale and correspondent teams, we will make it easier for Homeward to meet the needs of our partners across all of our business channels, including broker, emerging banker, non-delegated and correspondent,” Homeward Residential President Greg O’Connor said in the statement. “Additionally, coverage and service levels will improve with each partner having a dedicated support team, including a field representative, an internal sales support representative and a customer service representative, available at all times.”
