Residential loan production shot up by nearly half at Prosperity Home Mortgage LLC on a quarter-over-quarter basis. Staffing also grew.
Home lending volume during the three months ended June 30 came to
3,149 loans for $0.909 billion.
The Chantilly, Virginia-based company disclosed its operational metrics as part of the Mortgage Daily Second Quarter 2015 Mortgage Origination Survey.
New business was significantly better than in the first three months of this year, when mortgage production was 2,129 loans for $0.616 billion.
For the entire first half of 2015, Prosperity closed
5,278 loans for $1.525 billion.
All of
the lender’s business was originated through the retail channel.
Prosperity, which reported no mortgage servicing portfolio, said there were
394 people on its payroll as of June 30, 2015.
Staffing
expanded from March 31, when headcount stood at 384 employees.
